(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Hundreds of Canadians send a strong message to the canadian government to stand up to its obligations to protect the oppressed Bahraini protesters. hundreds have been brutaly killed or injured during their peaceful protest in Bahrain in the past few days by their own army and Saudi occupier forces. A crowd of more than 450 protestors marched in front of the embassies of Saudi Arabia and the United Aab Emirates in downtown Ottawa Saturday. Boteler Street between Dalhousie Street and King Edward Avenue was closed for several hours. They re-opened shortly before 7 p.m. Police said the demonstration was peaceful but the closures were necessary to ensure public safety in the area. The crowd was protesting against Bahrain King crackdowns on unarmed anti-government protestors. Protestors have been demonstrating against tyrannical regime of Bahrain for several weeks. They have faced a violent response from their government, which 24 martyred and more than 1000 injured. |
